Our first stop is the viewpoint for the Glencoe Burial Islands where the bygone chiefs of the local clans buried their dead and resolved conflics.

We travel into Glencoe Village and its museum set within traditional 18th century heather-thatched cottages.

Glencoe Folk Museum holds an eclectic array of objects celebrating local heritage and providing an insight into the history of the area and its people.

Nestling into the landscape at the foot of the glen is the award-winning eco-friendly Visitor Centre. Including exhibition, viewing platform, cafe, shop and ranger information point. The Ranger service has a varied events programme with Land Rover safaris (on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) and children’s events.

Glencoe’s iconic view of the three sisters is regonised the world over and we stop at the viewpoint for some photos.

There is the option to take the Hidden Valley walk up between the mountains which typically takes 3 hours to complete. Please enquire at the time of booking if you’d like to do this.

We stop at Crainlarich for a spot of lunch at The Real Food Cafe where some delicious freshly cooked food and home-baking is on offer.

We travel the length of Loch Lomond and past the world-famous Carrick Golf Course before heading to the village of Luss for a wonderful view along the loch.

We head to Lomond Shores retail park for some afternoon refreshment and some shopping with an optional boat trip along the loch.

This walk is very atmospheric with its undulating red cliffs and fast flowing stream accessed down a steep stone staircase.

We will set off from Loch Ness back to your drop off location. Following a full and satisfying day, we won’t tell anyone if you have a snooze.
